Bahía Beach
Bahía Beach occupies 483 gated acres of maritime forest on a former coconut plantation, between El Yunque National Forest and the Espíritu Santo River State Preserve, with about two miles of beach. Its 18 hole course was Robert Trent Jones Jr.'s first in Puerto Rico, and the community is described as the Caribbean's first certified Gold Audubon Signature Sanctuary.
In November 2025 the former St. Regis Bahía Beach became Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico, in partnership with Paulson Puerto Rico, with 193 rooms and suites and 85 private residences. Older listings and articles may still use the St. Regis name.
Beyond Bahía
Río Grande also includes the Wyndham Grand Río Mar, with an Ocean Course by Tom and George Fazio and a River Course by Greg Norman along the Mameyes River, and Grand Reserve Golf Club, a 27 hole Tom Kite design that has hosted the PGA Tour's Puerto Rico Open.
